Very little knowledge of blogs. I occasionally read blogs on newspaper websites but never write in them (I don't know how!)
I would love to have a class blog for my first graders. One of my daughters had a class blog last year (5th grade) and she loved it!
I don't know any other Web 2.0 applications but I would be interested in anything else out there.
