I pretty sure that you'd have to call me a novice blogger.
I haven't been reading any blogs on a regular basis. I just view some to learn more about the blogging process.

At Barber Middle School all teachers post to a blog daily. The purpose of the blogging is to keep students and parents aware of assignments. It is not interactive. I think that the format is much easier to navigate than web site for parents, students and teachers. Also the fact that the posts are archived is helpful as well. I do not blog often from the media center because I have not decided with my job share person what should be included.
Personally, I read a few professional blogs. The GLMA, The Unquiet Librarian and one from a contributor to the ALA - Valenza. Also, as I stumble across some blogs of interest I will read them as well but not continually.
