Introduction

Good morning. My name is Jacque (pronounced Jackie) Murray and I am an Instructional Technology Specialist with the Muscogee County School District in Columbus, Georgia.
Having attended a blogging class by Patrick Crispen at GaETC, I have created a blog and have taught a couple of blogging classes for teachers and media specialists. I know the rudiments of blogging, but have no special expertise in this area.
I hope to learn more about using blogging as a learning tool with students so I can pass what I learn to our teachers in Muscogee County.
I occassionally read a friend's blog and random ones posted by people I do not know. I am constantly amazed by what people will publish so that God and everyone knows all their personal business!!
I am very interested in learning how to do podcasts.

So Glad To Be Here

Good Morning! I'm really happy to be here. My name is Michelle Madden, and I am an eLearning Specialist at Atlanta Public Schools. eLearning is a new division of the Instructional Technology Department. We began in January, and have been very busy training the entire district (including principals and Executive Directors) on how to podcast. Our three main areas of focus are Blackboard, creating interactive instructional modules based on the GPS, and Podcasting. I (sporadically) create a blog using iWeb (Mac), so I am definitely a beginner. I don't regularly read any particular blog. I would like to know how to incorporate blogging into what we do in our department with teachers and students. I am interested in all technology and am eager to learn all that I can!!

I'm very comfortable with blogging. I have actually started my own. You can visit it at: http://kmintech.blogspot.com/
I have listed the blogs I like to visit under my Blog Roll.
I have taught myself how to blog through trial and error. I have also learned a lot from the other instructors I work with. But I know, like anything, there are always cool and new things to learn about the Web2.0 world.

Good Morning!
