My name is Gretchen Conboy. I teach at Our Lady of the Assumption School in the Archdiocese of Atlanta. I have been teaching 3rd grade for the last 5 years and am moving to the primary computer lab next year. I want to understand blogging and see how to use it in my lab.

My name is Lisa (Agnes) Cordell. I have been a technology teacher at Our Lady of the Assumption School for seven years. OLA is a part of the Archdiocese of Atlanta school system.

My name is Ellen Adair, and I work here at KSU in the Early Childhood/Elementary Education Dept. I teach a reading course, supervise student teachers and TOSS students. I even worked with Gifted Students at Cheatham Hill Elementary in Cobb County.
I have NEVER blogged. I do keep up with my childhood friends in Fresno, CA, by reading their blog!
I hope to learn how to utilize the new technology with my own children, my students, and even my peers. I may even keep a blog for my students in the Fall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Introducing Diane Miller-Deasy

My name is Diane Miller-Deasy (sometimes know to my students as Mrs. Washington-Deasy). I am the Librarian at Our Lady of the Assumption School, which is part of the Archdiocese of Atlanta. We are a Pre-K through 8 school. I have no experience with blogging at all, but really want to learn. I especially want to learn how to use blogs and ipods with middle school students.

1) Sign in to Blogger - Username will be kennesaw# - Password is kennesaw. This takes you to the Dashboard. Click the green cross next to New Post to start blogging! (Be sure you have the Compose tab selected.)

2) Enter a title - Introduction

3) In the Message area, enter the following information:
Name
Position (job)
School System
Level of expertise with blogging
Blogs you read, if any
What do you hope to gain from this class
Any other item of interest regarding Web 2.0 applications

4) Click Publish.
